    Welcome to Citizens for Vince Pacelli.  Carroll County faces a most challenging and exciting future.  Challenging in the dramatic effect the current state of the economy is having on local government.  Exciting in how we will meet those challenges.  I believe in the value and power of the individual and have the utmost faith in the citizens of Carroll County.  We will meet these challenges and overcome the obstacles to success.  Carroll County, as most of society, suffers from a leadership vacuum.  Those who seek elective office invariably are committed to a personal agenda and are unable or unwilling to remove their ego from the decision making process.  If we are to move forward, if we are to be successful, this must change.  We must never lose sight of the fact that each political office belongs to the people; that our office holders are only temporary occupants.  As a County Commissioner I will bring successful documented leadership ability, in both the public and private sectors to Carroll County.  My experience ranges from being a decorated detective commander with the Baltimore City Police Department, to a nationally recognized security executive, and to now serving the citizens of Carroll County as a member of the Sheriff’s Office.  While working as a detective commander and security executive, I successfully managed multi-million dollar budgets; always finishing the fiscal year under budget while at the same time improving customer service and reducing crime.  As with our own families, identifying and eliminating waste is critical; doing more with less is not an option, it is mandatory.  Our tax dollars must be watched with the eyes of an eagle.

As a law enforcement officer I have always taken pride in delivering personal service, and will bring this same mindset to the Board of Commissioners.
